If you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that I swear by micellar water. A good micellar water is such a gentle and effective method for removing makeup that I can’t ever see myself not using micellar water. I love the Garnier SkinActive Oil Infused Micellar Cleansing Water but recently I’ve been using the B Pure Micellar Water which I’ve really been enjoying.
At the same time as purchasing the B Pure Micellar Water, I picked up the B Stubborn Makeup Remover. Sometimes I like to really layer my mascara or opt for waterproof mascara which micellar water can struggle to tackle. I purchased the B Stubborn Makeup Remover in the hope that I could use it to remove any particularly long-wearing or waterproof makeup.
The B Stubborn Makeup Remover is described as a “quick, easy makeup remover formulated to dissolve all traces of long-wearing and waterproof makeup. It will leave skin feeling silky smooth and non-greasy.”
This remover has a dual action formula so I like to give it a good shake before applying a small amount to a cotton wool pad. I’ve mostly been using this remover to get rid of my mascara and eye make up. I hold the soaked cotton wool pad on each eye lid for a few seconds to allow the remover to dissolve my eye makeup. If it needs a little more time I gently wipe my eyes with the cotton wool pad to work the remover some more.
The B Stubborn Makeup Remover is by far the most effective eye makeup remover I have ever tried, and I’ve tried A LOT in a bid to find an effective eye makeup remover that I can rely on. It is absolutely brilliant, removing makeup in seconds without leaving my skin oily or uncomfortable. I’m so impressed by how gentle this feels on my skin and doesn’t sting my sensitive eyes in the slightest.
The pro vitamin B5 and cucumber juice in the B Stubborn Makeup Remover leaves my skin feeling soothed and refreshed, so much so that I actually now look forward to removing my mascara at the end of the day.
The B makeup and skincare brand is vegan and cruelty free which is certainly an added bonus. It costs £7.99 for 100ml which is more than I would choose to spend on an eye makeup remover but this is worth every penny, especially as a little goes a long way. Superdrug also regularly have this on promotion, and in fact at the time of writing it is on offer at £3.95 making it a lot more affordable. I’m off to Superdrug to stock up!
Have you tried anything from the B skincare or beauty range? I’d love to hear your recommendations.
