I have so many blog posts I SHOULD be writing but rather than sticking to my blogging schedule (at least I’m writing a blog post, right?) I’m going to talk to you about my happy place.
In fact, I am going to share with you the 3 reasons why Disneyland Paris will ALWAYS be my happy place. Just because I feel like it. And because there are only like 16 days left until I’m back in said happy place. Eeee!
1. I look at you and I’m home – Finding Nemo
Disneyland Paris holds a very special place in my heart because it is where my relationship with Nick began, and then 8 years later, it’s where Nick got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We have so many wonderfully happy memories from our trips to Disneyland Paris and like it or not (thankfully we love it) I will always have a very sentimental attachment to Disneyland Paris.
2. Hakuna Matata – The Lion King
When I’m in Disneyland Paris I get swept away by the magic and sparkle of the place and completely let go of my worries. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am a constant worrier so to be able to let go of my anxieties for a few days is like a massive weight lifted off my shoulders and I can fully enjoy myself.
3. Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional – Walt Disney
I love that it’s completely acceptable for adults to wear mickey ears, cuddle their favourite characters and spend all day skipping from one ride to the next at Disneyland Paris. What’s not to love about embracing your inner child? I personally think it is good for the soul.
