There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about how blessed I am to have parents as thoughtful, caring and loving as mine – I know I can always count on them no matter what. They are also extremely generous and they kindly gifted me the My Burberry Black perfume when they came back from their summer holiday.
I don’t often write about perfumes and scents on my blog, purely because I find it difficult to describe them. But My Burberry Black? Well, it’s out of this world – so how could I not write about it! It’s an absolutely breathtaking scent.
Housed in a rectangular amber coloured bottle with a statement lid and a hand-tied black knot, it screams class. My Burberry Black is said to “return to a London garden amidst a gathering storm, heavy rain contrasting with the warm and captivating flora. The fragrance bottles the sensual elements of a black Burberry trench coat against bare skin.”
Described as floral oriental with top notes of jasmine, heart notes of rose and peach, and base notes of amber and patchouli, My Burberry Black is a captivating, rich perfume.
It is extremely long lasting, especially if I spritz My Burberry Black onto my hair or clothes I can often still smell the scent the next day which is just incredible.
To me, My Burberry Black is sweet yet rich, intense but feminine, floral yet captivating. It’s everything I want in a fragrance, and I think it might just be my new signature scent, I love it so much.
