In celebration of Nailbox turning 1, the April Nailbox has a Birthday theme. This month’s edition was filled with 3 full sized nail polishes, 1 nail treatment and a pack of nail gems.
Bourjois Bleu Asphalte | £3.49
I instantly recognised Bleu Asphalte as it’s already a member of my nail polish collection – bound to happen now and then so I’ll be passing this on to someone that can enjoy it. Bourjois Bleu Asphalte is a deep purple with grey undertones.
Ciate London Baby | £3.99-£9.99
London Baby fits the Birthday theme perfectly as it’s a glitter topper. Ciate London Baby is a mixture of holographic graphite hexagonal and micro glitter in a clear base.
Elegant Touch Stylist Cuticle Strips | £3.00
These silver and gold Elegant Touch Cuticle Strip Nail Gems look really easy to apply as they are pre-glued. At first I thought they’d look a bit tacky but actually I think they could look really pretty applied as an accent.
Invogue Sugar Daddy | £1.99-£3.49
Invogue Sugar Daddy is a hot pink. I feel like a lot of the recent boxes have included a bright pink nail polish so I’m a bit disappointed to see another similar shade.
Nail Apothecary Nail Quencher | £7.95
Nail Apothecary’s Nail Quencher is formulated for dry and brittle nails. It claims to deeply moisturise and nourish nails, so I’m looking forward to trying this one.
