I should probably apologise for the number of photos contained in this post, but the December My Little Box is just so photogenic that I couldn’t resist! The My Little Box team have pulled out all the stops for the December My Little Magic Box and I’m smitten. The My Little Magic Box has a very fitting theme of celebration with a colour palette of navy and gold that runs throughout.
The beauty items this month came housed in a gorgeous navy makeup bag with gold details – one side is covered in polka dots and the other a makeup design. When I opened my box to see that I had received a Too Faced liquid lipstick I was so impressed. I’m a big fan of Too Faced products and I haven’t tried any of their liquid lipsticks before. Melted Fuchsia is a bold pink, so I would have preferred a more wearable shade but it’s an opportunity to try something out of my comfort zone. I’ve seen some other reviews of the My Little Magic Box and some subscribers received a Nars blusher which I would have been equally excited to try.
I also received My Little Beauty’s Vice-Versa Nail Polish Duo in shades Sparkling (gold glitter particles in a clear base) and Night (a shimmery navy blue) which are both perfect for the party season. You know how much I love nail polish so I was delighted to see these included.
I was also sent a Rituals body cream in Touch of Happiness which smells so lovely as it contains sweet orange and cedar wood. I’ve heard many great things about this brand but I’m yet to try anything, so I’m looking forward to testing this out.
The My Little Magic Box was also very generous on the lifestyle front. I received a gorgeous pair of gold and blue mittens (can you see that colour palette I was talking about?) that seem very well made and Kusmi Tea in Imperial Label which contains warming cinnamon and zesty lemon. I’m not a big tea drinker but I’ll try it and if I’m not a fan I’ll pass it onto someone else to enjoy.
I adore everything about the My Little Magic Box. From the adorable polka dot, gold and blue colour scheme, to the theme (who doesn’t like a spot of magic?), the little details, to the beauty products and lifestyle items that all fit together perfectly. I was beginning to think that My Little Box had lost its magic but the December box totally proved me wrong. I’m now so excited to see what has been put together for the January edition!

What an adorable box! I love that it isn’t strictly makeup. I really like those mittens, they are the cutest. The tin of tea is so pretty too, the tin itself can be used afterwards for storing something after the tea is done! I just checked their site and it seems like it’s only for the UK – bummer! I find that usually subscription boxes in the US aren’t as great as the UK counterparts as well :/
