In my box:

London Butterflies Dead Sea Salt and Sweet Almond Oil Bath Salt Scrub
theBalm Cindy-Lou Manizer
Wild About Beauty Rose Water Illuminating Serum
Lifestyle extra: The Chia Co. Oats and Chia
The theme for this month’s Birchbox is “Birchbox Loves” which is very fitting for the month of love. Upon opening this box my immediate thought was that it actually felt rather full of products – it’s lovely to get decent sized samples as it then feels like you’re really getting your moneys worth. I also think the inserts have a really cute design for February (I’ll always fall for hearts and pretty patterns).
The product I’m most excited about in my February box is the Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner in Black. It’s a creamy pencil with a smudge proof formula that glides on making application beautifully easy. I use an eyeliner on my waterline most days, so I’m happy to add another to my collection – especially one that has such chic packaging!
I am looking forward to trying the London Butterflies Dead Sea Salt and Sweet Almond Oil Bath Salt Scrub. I regularly fail to remember to exfoliate my body even though I know how smooth it will leave my skin. The London Butterflies offering smells amazing so I’m really quite eager to try it.
I was excited to see a theBalm sample in my box, I’ve now tried a few of their products and I’m really impressed. Cindy-Lou Manizer is an all-in-one highlighter that can be used to add a wash of pink to cheekbones, eyelids or anywhere else that needs a little extra glow to highlight best features. If I’m honest, I’ve not really used a highlighter in the past but I’ll give this a try and see how I get on.
My box also contained the Wild About Beauty Rose Water Illuminating Serum. This serum is packed with light-reflecting particles, organic rose water and caigua extract to help regenerate and revitalise your complexion instantly. It also contains pearls to add a subtle shimmer and boost luminosity which has got me intrigued – I hope it isn’t too shimmery!
What a shame I received a generous shampoo sample after my trip to Budapest! I’ll be saving the Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo for my next break away. This shampoo contains shea butter, Vitamin E, and shine-boosting apple and orange extracts to gently cleanse the hair and leave it super soft and shiny.
I’ve never been a fan of porridge but I will give The Chia Co. Oats and Chia sachet a go, especially as all I have to do is add boiling water. You never know, I might like it more than I’m expecting.
As I mentioned earlier in the post, I love the theme this month and how my box contained quite generous samples and although I am happy to have received these products, I’m not delighted by it like I was with my My Little Frenchie Box this month.

You’re really lucky you got the Cindy-Lou Manizer in your box, the Balm’s highlighters are some of the best on the market. Unfortunately I got Stainiac in my box, which was such a disappointing product. I have to admit though that I’m utterly in love with the Cynthia Rowley eyeliner pencil, it’s butter soft and stays put all day!
And an irrelevant question now. I’ll be cheeky now. Μιλάς ελληνικά ή είσαι γεννηθής στην Αγγλία και μετά βίας καταλαβαίνεις την γλώσσα;

Oh no, sorry to hear you didn’t like your alternative sample :( they can be a bit hit and miss! Yes it’s a really lovely eyeliner!
:) And don’t worry it’s not cheeky at all! Xx
