The theme for this month’s Birchbox is “Hit Refresh” and Birchbox have partnered with Women’s Health to provide a box full of products and content to help set your year on track.

The product that I’m most excited about in the January box is the Stila Lip Glaze. I’ve read so many positive reviews on Stila products in the past but never tried any for myself so I’m really happy to have received this full sized product. This lip glaze is a lovely sheer, shimmery pink-toned gloss that I’m looking forward to wearing.

I am also excited to try the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. This is an oil-free serum that evens skin tone, boosts radiance, and moisturises for a glowing complexion. I think I’ll save this serum for when on my next trip as it’s a really handy size for taking away.

I am looking forward to trying the Philip Kingsley Body Building Conditioner. This conditioner is enhanced with keratin proteins and natural cellulose to improve the hair’s strength and condition as well as thickening the appearance of each strand to add volume and shine.

I also received HealGel Intensive which is described as a multipurpose skin rescue gel that restores and protects the skin. It’s a really tiny sample of just 5ml so I’m going to use it when I next have an area of concern that I want to target.

Finally I received Activebod Cooling Finish Lotion, a re-energising lotion to be used after a workout. I always feel very hot after my weekly Zumba class, particularly in the Summer so I’ll certainly be using this to cool me down.

This month’s box contained two lifestyle extras. A sachet of Embrace Matcha Green Tea and a Pilates Band. I don’t usually drink tea but I gave this one a go and I actually didn’t mind (but I did have to add a bit of sweetener). The Pilates Band can be used to tone, increase strength and improve muscle endurance so I’ll definitely give it a try.

The box also included a “Hit Refresh” booklet with 12 mini challenges with tips for each one, such as sit smarter and up your sleep quality which is a really nice touch. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with Birchbox’s first box of the year, the products and lifestyle extras fit with the theme perfectly and I am particularly excited to try the Stila Lip Glaze and Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum.
