Christmas Gifts

I have really enjoyed reading what you all received for Christmas (mainly because I’m always very nosey and interested!) so thought I’d share some of the lovely things I’ve been given. I’m so so grateful for everything, I’ve been truly spoilt and I’m a very lucky girl.

My parents and grandparents were exceedingly generous and gave me a new camera which I am absolutely thrilled about. I loved my Nikon bridge camera but recently I’d been feeling limited and I wanted a camera that would enable me to experiment more. I am now the proud owner of the Nikon D3200 which I already absolutely adore. The above photos were taken on it, and I’m already really pleased with the results I’m getting. Yesterday morning I went on a lovely long winter walk to take some photos and I’m so impressed! I can tell I’m going to be glued to my new camera in 2015.

My mister gave me lots of wonderful things such as the penguin sponge (which is called Perry!), Pretty Honest and Girl Online which are both books I’d asked for and I’m really looking forward to reading, adorable owl socks, some DVDs (including Frozen which I’ve watched 3 times since Christmas Day, I’m obsessed!), chocolates, The Library of Fragrance Cherry Blossom perfume and charms for my Pandora bracelet (Christmas Teddy Bear, Penguins and Duck).

My sister gave me the adult colouring book and colouring pencils. I find colouring in really quite therapeautic and relaxing so I’m sure I’ll be using these to wind down after a stressful day at work. From other family and friends I received some new Korres things, owl gloves, Ciate polishes and a pretty notebook. I was also gifted some money and vouchers which I have already partly spent in the sales. I brought 3 Topshop polishes in the sale which were just £3 each and the cute “You Will Forever Be My Always” heart trinket for just £1 from Next. I also purchased some clothes/boots from New Look and a few things in the Lush sale which will hopefully arrive in the next few days.

Your camera must be amazing because these photos certainly are! It focuses on things so well! Frozen is so addictive, I love all the songs! I’m so glad Disney films are still as good as ever :) I’ve seen quite a few colouring books like yours on posts and I really want one! I agree, colouring is very therapeutic!

All the best for 2015 Ioanna :)

Yes I’m really happy with it Emma!! Me too, I can’t stop singing them! I watched it again last night too haha! You can find them quite cheap in places like Wilkinsons too if you don’t want to spend loads! Thank you Emma, you too! xx
