The weather was so glorious on Sunday that I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity of doing something in the unexpected October sun.
The mister and I decided to revisit Stotfold Nature Reserve. We hadn’t been to this beautiful place in four years. I couldn’t believe that so much time had passed since our last trip.
It felt really good to amble along the winding paths taking it all in.
Four years on and this small, but perfectly formed nature reserve felt so familiar.
Calming and peaceful.
The ducks splashing in the river and the wind rustling the leaves the only sounds.
I took my camera and photographed anything that took my fancy.
I hadn’t done that for ages. Just allowed myself to capture my surroundings in any which way.
To really see the shapes and colours of the landscape. The meadows, the plants, the wildflowers. Nature.
And just take it all in.
