The Mani and Lola January box focuses on reviving, rejuvenating and refreshing to help kick start the new year. The edit this month features three full size nail polishes, a nail polish treatment, a hand repair mask, hydrating butter and a nail file which instantly makes me think that this subscription service is excellent value for money.
I’m going to dive straight in with the contents of my January Mani and Lola box;
Skin Republic Hand Repair Mask | RRP £5.50
This hand repair mask is said to intensely moisturise and reduce any signs of aging. It’s enriched with collagen, shea butter, vitamin e and plant extracts to help soften dry hands. My hands do get quite dry in the winter months so I try and apply hand cream at least a couple of times a day so I’m looking forward to trying this 20 minute treatment as an extra treat.
Cuccio Milk and Honey Butter | RRP £4.99
This smells good enough to eat and I can’t wait to try this nourishing hand, feet and body butter over the coming weeks. As it’s quite a small tub I’ll probably save it for my hands so that it lasts longer.
Mani and Lola Nail File | RRP £2.95
This 100/180 Mani and Lola sponge nail file is perfect for lightly filing and shaping nails. Although a nail file in both the first and third boxes is a tad repetitive, I don’t mind as I really do get through them.
OPI Nail Envy Samoan Sand (full size) | RRP £18.40
OPI Samoan Sand is a pretty natural nude with the added benefit of the Nail Envy strengthening formula that I always swear by. This is my first OPI strength and colour nail polish so I’m really looking forward to giving this a try.
Artistic Shred It Up (full size) | RRP £9.95
My first Artistic nail polish and it’s such a gorgeous bright orchid purple shade. I think this might be the product I’m most excited to try.
China Glaze New Year, New Boo (full size) | RRP £8.95
China Glaze New Year, New Boo is a deep royal blue shimmer. The name of this polish fits the box theme so well.
Butter London Flusher Blusher (full size) | RRP £15.00
Flusher Blusher (such a fun name for a fuchsia pink) is another bright shade which isn’t what you’d maybe expect from a mani box at this time of year but I’m more than happy to wear bright shades all year round.
The January Mani and Lola box has an impressive line up with a variety of brands and nail porducts that fit this month’s theme really well. There isn’t one product within the box that has disappointed me and I’m especially excited to try the Artistic nail polish as I’ve never tried this brand of nail polish before. I can’t wait to see what Mani and Lola do for their February box, what with it being Valentine’s Day and everything.
The Mani and Lola nail subscription box costs £20.00 + P&P per month and is dispatched around the 17th of each month.
