I love having a nosey at what other people have been buying so I thought it was about time I shared a little beauty related haul of my own.
I love letting my Boots and Superdrug points accumulate so I feel like I’m getting things for free. Does anyone else do this?
I used my accumulated Boots points to purchase a couple of the new Soap & Glory face masks. They were on 3 for 2, so it would have been rude not to.
I opted for the Soap & Glory Bright and Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask to brighten dull skin, the Soap & Glory Speed Plump Miracle Moisture Mask for a super moisture boost and the Soap & Glory What a Peeling! De-Clog Mask to clear pores and purify the skin. I can’t remember the last time I tried new face masks so I’m really looking forward to giving these a go.
I also couldn’t resist making the most of the 3 for 2 offer on the new Zoella Jelly and Gelato range in Superdrug. I bought the Zoella Gelato Body Pudding which is a body cream enriched with extracts of elderflower and pomegranate to help brighten, smooth and tone, the Zoella Gelat’Eau Body Mist and the Zoella Gelato Shower Shake which is a moisturising shower cream.
This Zoella range might just have to be my favourite, it smells absolutely divine and the packaging is really cute.
Gemma 100% enabled me with my next two purchases. Having read her glowing review I couldn’t resist adding the ELF Lip Scrub Exfoliator (in clear) to my basket. It sounds really quick and easy to use which is just what I need when it comes to lip scrups otherwise I won’t bother using it.
Secondly, I repurchased the Bourjois Magic 1 Second Nail Polish Remover. I had the Bourjois Magic 1 Second Nail Polish Remover a couple of years ago but I can’t remember whether I enjoyed using it or not, so I thought I’d give it another try having read Gemma’s post.
I’ve become a bit tired of using nail polish remover on cotton wool pads, as the cotton strands always seem to find their way into my drying nail polish, no matter what I do, whereas the Bourjois Magic 1 Second Nail Polish Remover uses a sponge soaked in nail polish remover so I shouldn’t have any problems.
I love to try new mascara releases so of course I had to buy the L’Oreal Paris Paradise Mascara. This mascara claims to add intense volume and spectacular length. The brush itself reminds me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara although it’s not quite so domed. I have high hopes.
Finally I had to buy the Spectrum Siren 5 Piece Sculpt Brush Set when I spotted it had £10 off in the sale. I mean just look at those brushes! This collection has a solid black handle with a pearlescent rainbow ferrule and aqua blue bristles tipped with black. Aren’t they stunning?
I’m a massive fan of the Spectrum brushes, they’re such beautiful, soft and high-quality brushes that I just can’t get enough. This set of 5 face brushes contains a Flat Top Buffer Brush, a Flat Top Contour Brush, an Angled Powder Brush, a Precision Blush Brush and a Large Powder Brush. I can’t wait to start using them.
So that’s it for my recent beauty purchases! What have you been buying lately?
