You may have noticed that I haven’t posted a hearting monthly (AKA monthly favourites) post in a while and there’s a reason for that. I love sharing mini reviews of my favourite products, but I don’t like the pressure of having to find x amount of things each month.
So instead, I’ve decided to use my hearting lately series to share favourite beauty and lifestyle discoveries (or rediscoveries) as and when I feel the need to share 5 things I’m hearting (loving) with you. I hope that’s OK with you!
All things rose gold
From my phone case to pretty stationery (thank you Sainsburys) and everything in between, I have been obsessed with rose gold for a while now and my fixation doesn’t seem to be easing up. Now I’ve got my eye on these black trainers with rose gold trim *heart eyes emoji*.
Collection #BlushandGlow Palette
The Collection #BlushandGlow Palette is such great value at £4.99, okay it does come in cardboard packaging but it houses four generesouly sized shades that I’ve been reaching for almost daily. The palette contains a matte bronzer, a matte pink blush, a shimmery pink blush and a subtle neutral highlighter which are all very wearable for every day. I really can’t fault this palette for the price.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk
Guys, I just can’t help it, when I see lots of bloggers raving about a product I just have to follow the hype and try it for myself and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk was purchased just like that. I’ve got no regrets, it has been my go to lipstick for the past few weeks and I just can’t get enough! It’s the most beautiful matte nude pick that sits comfortably on my lips. Don’t even get me started on the packaging!
Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Unicorns Heart
Does anyone want to hazard a guess as to my other obsession? You guessed right, unicorns. Unicorns, unicorns, unicorns. I’m still loving everything and anything related to unicorns and I was swooning over this gorgeous highlight as soon as I spotted it on my instagram feed. SOOO pretty and it’s even more breathtaking once applied. The Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Unicorns Heart has a frosted finish that can easily be built up. Love
Real Techniques MultiTech 360 Point Makeup Sponge
I still love the original Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge but since picking this up I haven’t wanted to reach for anything else. The Real Techniques MultiTech 360 Point Makeup Sponge is a black rounded sponge with a pointed tip that effortlessly bounces along the skin to apply foundation or concealer. The sponge also comes with a handy cube which can be used to store, transport and dry the sponge, which I forgot to photograph.
I’ve washed it a few times now and there’s not a mark in sight whereas the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge shows signs of wear quite quickly, and not just in the form of stains but also tears. It is more expensive at £9.99 but if it lasts well, I don’t see that as a problem. Full review to follow in the coming weeks.
