My Boots statement came through the door not too long ago and I was quite excited to see that I’d actually built up quite a few points, so I thought I’d take myself on a little Boots visit to spend them.
The first thing I came across is the Max Factor Velvet Matte Lipsticks. I’ve not heard anything about these lipsticks but I was instantly taken by the matte black casing and the shade I purchased, 05 Nude, is my perfect kind of nude shade. I’m really excited to try it, these lipsticks are described as having a soft satin matte finish while the formula is infused with oils and butters for a moisturising feel.
The new Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara also sparked my interest due to its unusual brush. This mascara claims to lift and plump lashes from the roots so we’ll see how I get on with it, I love trying new mascara!
I’ve read a few posts on the new Garnier Micellar Gel Wash so I was thrilled to see that my local Boots had it in stock AND on offer at £2.66 – I’m a big fan of the original and the oil infused versions! Look out for a review in the coming weeks.
In addition I picked up the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Winter Remedy, with it being reduced from £4.99 to £2.50 it felt like no better time to try this deep conditioning treatment.
Lastly I purchased the Simple Kind To Skin Dual Effect Eye Make Up Remover. I’m still on the hunt for a holy grail eye make up remover so I thought I would give this one a go. This remover has a bi-phase formula to help dissolve waterproof eye make up.
If you’d like to see reviews of any of the above, please say! Let me know What little treats have you purchased for yourself lately?
