This post comes slightly delayed but sometimes I just need a little break and I decided not to keep to my schedule for a day or two, I hope you don’t mind.
Another month, another what I’m hearting post. Hey June, shame you couldn’t bring the sunshine with you! The weather feels the complete opposite of summer, so cold, wet and windy for the past couple of days. Truly miserable. I really hope it perks up soon. Anyway, onto what I’ve been hearting in the month of May!
Benefit Hoola Bronzing and Contouring Brush
Towards the middle of the month I treated myself to this beauty. This has to be the most gorgeous brush I own, it feels so luxurious. The bristles are extremely soft and the dome shaped head makes applying bronzer, blusher or highlighter a real breeze.
Calvin Klein In2U Her
If I had to choose one perfume to wear for the rest of my life I think it would have to be Calvin Klein In2U Her. I have loved this perfume ever since I can remember and I’m probably on my 5th bottle by now. I’ve recently gone back to wearing it regularly and I just can’t stop. It is described as a fresh and floral scent which opens with fresh pink grapefruit and sugar orchid. It is also one of the most long wearing scents I’ve ever tried and at just under £20 for 150ml I can’t fault the price either. I really hope this never gets discontinued.
May Papergang Box
I really struggled to think of a more lifestyle item that stood out to me this month, and then I remembered how impressed I was by my Papergang box this month. I literally love every single item in this month’s box. You can read my full review here.
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation In Deauville
I have a strange relationship with foundations. I go through phases of loving one and thinking oh this is perfect, great shade match, good coverage and long lasting but then I can very quickly fall out of love, either because I spot my reflection in a mirror and the shade match looks totally off, it starts to make my skin feel oily or something else along these lines. As a result, I rarely if ever write about foundations. The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation though? It’s a total game changer. Don’t be fooled by “Sheer Glow” in the name, it’s actually a buildable medium/ full coverage foundation with a satin finish that really does brighten my complexion and last well throughout the day. Look out for a full review soonish.
Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Fireball
Anyone that reads my blog regularly could have probably guessed that the Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Fireball would make an appearance in my May favourites post. Fireball is a warm coral with a pink duochrome which blends beautifully on the skin. I literally haven’t used another highlighter since purchasing this one.
