It has been a while since I last shared a good old beauty haul so I thought I’d share my recent purchases with you.
I started my shopping trip in Boots. I went in search of the Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Brush Gel but it was out of stock but in an aisle close by I found the Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra. Growing up I always had the classic Denman hair brush but more recently I have been reaching for my beloved Wet Brush. I haven’t read or seen anything about the Denman Tangle Tamer so I’m really intrigued to see how it compares to the Wet Brush. Let me know if you’d like to see a comparison post.
My hands have been extremely dry lately so when I spotted the Yes to Coconut Protecting Hand & Cuticle Cream with a third off I thought I’d give it a go. My skin already feels better off for using this regularly.
Also on the skincare front, I purchased the Good Things Argan Oil Perfecting Facial Oil and the Good Things Argan Oil Time Rewind Day Cream as these were also reduced. My face has also been quite dry recently and these both promise to be intensely moisturising so I’m hoping they’ll help to keep dry skin at bay.
I’ve somehow managed to misplace my Champneys Glass Nail File so I decided to replace it as I’ve really been missing it.
I also picked up a few make up bits. From SEVENTEEN I purchased the Stay Time Foundation and the Stay Time Pressed Powder. I’m a big fan of SEVENTEEN products so it may come as a surprise that I’ve never tried their foundation products before. I’ve been using both of these products this past weekend and so far I’m extremely impressed.
Lastly in Boots I purchased the Rimmel London Sculpting Palette in shade Coral Glow. I can already tell I’m going to be reaching for this a lot as I love the shades in this handy palette.
I then popped to TK Maxx for a browse and walked away with more than I expected. Rogue by Rihanna was in the clearance section, the perfume was completely sealed but for less than £10 I thought it was worth the risk. Turns out it was the right decision as I absolutely adore this long lasting scent. Described as “capturing the mischievous nature that lies within every modern woman, Rogue by Rihanna has a bold yet flirty composition” – I’m a big fan.
I liked the look of The Vintage Company brushes so I added the Dusting And Powder Brush and Angled Shadow Brush to my basket as I could do with some more brushes for brush cleaning days. Both brushes are extremely soft and well made.
Finally, as lets face it I can’t visit TK Maxx without buying a nail polish, I purchased the stunning OPI Chasing Rainbows, such a cute and fitting name for this colourful glitter topper.
So far I’m really pleased with all of my beauty buys which is really rewarding as I hate feeling like I’ve wasted money on something that I dislike or won’t end up using.
What little treats have you purchased for yourself lately?
