I’m posting my October My Little Box unboxing and first impressions a little later than usual – so sorry about that. For October My Little Box teamed with Pinterest for the My Little Creative Box to help inspire creativity and experimentation.
I received 3 skincare items in this month’s box which is a bit disappointing as I like to see variety. First up from Baija Paris a Hydrating Body Cream in Tiare Flower. I love the floral design of the tube and it contains shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, jojoba wax and cupacua butter for extra hydration and soft skin.
From Polaar I received The Genuine Lapland Hand Cream containing 3 arctic berries. This smells amazingly light and fresh and the Christmassy packaging has got me a bit excited for the festivities to come in December. Also this hand cream is genuinely made in Lapland so it’s definitely the product I’m most excited about in this month’s box!
Lastly on the skincare front I received My Little Beauty’s Crème De Minuit – a facial night cream containing shea butter and wheat proteins to sooth and nourish and cranberry oil and spirulina to provide an oxygen-boost.
The My Little Creative Box contained 2 lifestyle items. A lovely Tote Bag with the quote ‘Collect Moments Not Things’ which is very topical seeing as most retailers are now charging for carrier bags and Wire Wrap Tech Jewellery Beads. The jewellery beads can be clipped onto headphones to customise them and add some colour. I personally wouldn’t use the beads so I passed them onto my sister who is already using them!
I didn’t find the My Little Creative Box quite as enchanting as previous boxes, mostly because of the beauty items included which are all skincare – I’d have liked a bit more variety although it is nice to be introduced to new brands. I hope that November’s box has a bit more of the My Little Box magic that I fell in love with when the box was first introduced.
What did you think of the October My Little Creative Box?
