I’m really hearting (loving) Primark lately, so I thought I’d share the bits and pieces that ended up in my basket on my last visit.
Angelica Nail Polish in Boy Meets Girl | £2.00
Boy Meets Girl (oh how I love cute nail polish names!) has a clear base with a mix of pastel blue and lilac hexagonal glitter particles. I don’t really have any Spring appropriate glitter polishes so I’m excited to give this one a go!
Eyeliner and Pencil Sharpener Set | £1.00
I have been on the look out for a bright blue eyeliner and when I spotted this 2 pack I thought it was a complete bargain. I haven’t tried the sharpener yet but I’m so impressed by both the teal and bright blue eyeliners. They are both very pigmented and apply beautifully without any pulling. I’ve actually had a few compliments whilst wearing these too so I’ll definitely be reaching for them regularly over the next few months.
Heart Mirror Compact | £1.00
This has a lovely soft touch feel and one of the two mirrors within the compact is magnified. It feels much more premium than it’s £1.00 price tag.
Ice Cream Make Up Bag | £4.00
I LOVE this pastel ice cream make up bag – all the colours are so pretty! I’m pretty excited to use this when I go away for our Summer holiday.
Make Up Brush Cleanser | £2.00
I saw this and thought it would be ideal for spot cleaning my brushes in between washes, I’ll write a full review when I’ve used it a few times to let you know my thoughts.
Nail Polish Remover Pads | £1.00
I used to love getting wipes like these to take away on holiday with me so I thought I’d buy some from Primark. I’ve used these once and it took 5 pads to remove my nail polish completely so I won’t be using these all the time as I’ll get through them extremely quickly but they’re not bad for taking away.
Strawberry Bag | £6.00
It was so difficult to choose between this one and the Pineapple Bag, it was very tempting to buy both but I resisted! But seriously, a strawberry bag?? it’s just so cool! Volume Boost Mascara | £1.00
This mascara has very sleek matte black and gold packaging which I really like. I’ve used this mascara a few times and it’s pretty good for the price, it really lengthens and defines every lash, and works particularly well on the bottom lashes. Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see a full review.
Overall I’m so impressed by my Primark purchases! What little treats have you purchased for yourself lately?
