Recently it’s been rare that the mister and I both spend a whole Sunday together so on this occassion we decided to make the most of it. We trundled along to College Lake nature reserve, not expecting all that much, only to be taken by surprise. We wrapped up warm in layers of woolies and walked around the whole reserve and it was so lovely to take in the beautiful nature around us, breath in the crisp air and enjoy each other’s company. Days like this are my favourite.

Thank you so much Gemma. These were taken with the Nikon D3200, but I only got that for Christmas, before that I was using the Nixon Coolpix p510 (which I do still use now and then as it has a wonderful zoom and is awesome for a bridge camera) xx
