I’d amounted quite a large “to buy” list over the course of the month so when payday came I popped to Boots and purchased items 1 to 6. The only items I really needed was the Revlon Brow Fantasy, this was a repurchase as the gel had run out on my existing one, and the foundation. I have my MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation but I like to keep this for special occasions as it’s a tad on the expensive side. I therefore decided to try Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation for the first time after my No7 Stay Perfect Foundation ran out earlier in the month. I really enjoyed using the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation over the Summer months so thought I’d try another of their offerings. I’ll write a full review when I’ve formed an opinion but Vanilla seems to be a great match for my skin tone.
I haven’t owned or tried using a liquid eyeliner in some time, and after reading Grace’s post it sounded like it would be a good liquid eyeliner to try without breaking the bank. I hope I like it as much as Grace does! Similarly, I read a great review of the Yes to Tomatoes Face Mask and was really intrigued to try it for myself, especially as I can’t get enough of face masks recently. I can never resist a new mascara so I had to add the SEVENTEEN SUPERlash mascara to my basket when I spotted it on the shelves, especially as it has such a pleasing price tag. I was on the hunt for a new dark lip product and decided to purchase the Rimmel Provocalips in Kiss Fatal which is a lovely berry shade. I believe the Provocalips are a fairly new release, so I’m eager to give this a test run.
A couple of days later I found myself strolling though the aisles at Superdrug and noticed that they had a 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel products with a free Keep Calm and Party Lip Balm. The Bedazzle and Pop Art top coats caught my eye and I just couldn’t resist buying these glittery toppers. I also added the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Classic Beige to my basket, I’ve read lots of positive reviews so thought I’d give it a try for myself. Look out for full reviews of my recent purchases in the coming months, please let me know in the comments if there is a review you’d like me to prioritise. I ended up buying a fair few more little treats than I had planned to, but sometimes it’s nice to have a change from the products I use all the time by trying out some new and exciting ones.
What little payday treats have you been buying lately?
