The weather was perfect the day we visited the Acropolis during our weeks stay in Athens – the sun was shining, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it was lovely and warm for mid-October. The Parthenon and surrounding ancient buildings were completely breathtaking and the views spectacular. I haven’t visited since my childhood so it was such a wonderful experience revisiting, I’m so pleased we made it a priority.
