When I spotted the Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser in the Boots aisle I was intrigued. A charcoal cleanser? I had to pop this in my basked and give it a go despite never trying a Bioré product previously. Fast forward a month of daily use later and I feel ready to share my thoughts on this cleanser.
The Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser claims to “draw out dirt and impurities, purifying pores to leave your face deeply cleansed and your skin tingly-smooth”. This cleanser looks black in the bottle and comes in a pump format, when dispersed the cleanser appears grey with black dots and has quite a pleasant fresh smell.
I use this cleanser as a second cleanse after I have removed the majority of my make up with something like the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water as it isn’t suitable for eye contact. I wet my face then pump a small amount of Bioré cleanser into my hands. I then massage the cleanser over my face in a circular motion and the cleanser foams white. To remove I use a flannel with warm water to ensure I clear all of the product.
I have really enjoyed using the Bioré cleanser these past few weeks, my skin feels tingly during use and incredibly clean once the cleanser has been rinsed off. I have fairly sensitive skin and I haven’t found this to irritate my skin in the slightest. I find it easy to use and it leaves my face feeling fresh and deeply cleansed. For £4.99 I’m really pleased with my purchase and after a month of continual use I would recommend this product if you’d like to try a charcoal based cleanser that leaves your skin feeling incredibly clean.
Have you tried any products from Bioré? Are you a fan of charcoal cleansers?
