Photo Diary: Bonfire Night

Being wrapped up warm in layer upon layer but still not being able to feel my toes. The crackling sounds of the orange and red dancing flames of the glowing bonfire, smelling the smoke and feeling the tingles of ash and timber as they fall from the fire onto my skin. Admiring the spectacular fireworks in a plethora of mesmerising colours exploding in the dark sky, illuminating the world beneath. Lighting a sparkler and being captivated by it’s dazzling glitter, thinking this is simply magical. The feeling of satisfaction when the night is over and I’m back at home, snuggled under a blanket and sipping on a mug of hot chocolate, already looking forward to next year.
