I can only apologise for the radio silence over the past week or so, I could dwell on the reasons for my absence but in all honesty I just haven’t felt like writing.. but I’m back now so without further ado, here are the things I’ve been hearting in July!
Jimmy Choo Exotic Eau de Toilette
Does anyone else have to buy a new perfume whenever they’re at the airport? Luckily I only go on holiday a couple of times a year so it’s not too over indulgent. Jimmy Choo Exotic was my purchase on the way to Corfu (thank you Gemma for enabling this purchase) and wow do I love this scent! Described as “based around tiger orchids and patchouli, the fragrance opens with sparkling notes of blackcurrant sorbet and pink grapefruit, with a heart of tiger orchid and passion flower”. Jimmy Choo Exotic smells beautifully fruity which is perfect for summer.
KitSound Rose Gold Earphones
Maybe I’m a little late to the party but I’ve developed quite a fondness for anything and everything rose gold, so when I spotted these headphones when perusing the aisles of Sainsburys I couldn’t resist. Aren’t they pretty?
NYX The Skinny Mascara
I ordered this mascara just before I went on holiday at the start of July and I’ve been using it non stop every day since – it is absolutely perfect for my bottom lashes! The NYX The Skinny Mascara is completely different to any other macara that I’ve tried in that it has a seriously skinny, baby mascara brush. It also has a water resistant formula that doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day making it an even bigger hit. I have to admit I haven’t tried it on my top lashes for some reason but for my bottom lashes it works wonders, definitely one of my favourite discoveries of the year so far!
Soap and Glory Wonderbronze Shimmer Brick
Throughout July I’ve loved swirling my brush in the stunning Soap and Glory Wonderbronze Shimmer Brick to add a little shimmer to my cheek bones. If you can’t wear a shimmery bronzer in the summer months, when can you?
W7 Honolulu Bronzing Powder
The lovely Zoe shared a review of the W7 Honolulu Bronzing Powder quite a while back and I pretty much purchased the bronzer as soon as I’d finished reading her post, but it’s only in July that I really got around to trying it out properly. The W7 Honolulu Bronzing Powder has an easily blendible, pigmented formula that lasts all day long without fading. At just £3.50 it is such a steal!
