You may have read that this week I’m in the Dominican Republic, I still can’t quite believe it. I think it’s a good enough excuse to go a little crazy on the nail front, don’t you think?

I started off with Essie Garden Variety, a vibrant teal with green undertones that I absolutely love. I think it is such a flattering colour and it applied smoothly in 2 coats. I really like the Essie polishes with the wide brush!

Then on a couple of nails I decided to layer Angelica Bewitched. Angelica Bewitched is a glitter topper with a clear base that has turqoise glitter particles with silver strand and micro glitter. 1 coat provided lots of glistening glitter and the glitter particles applied fairly evenly.

Finally on my ring finger on each hand I applied 2 coats of Sally Hansen Shoot The Moon. This is absolutely gorgeous and for a metallic polish it applied so easily. Shoot The Moon is a metallic graphite silver with smooth metallic particles that really sparkle.

What do you think? It’s probably not appropriate for a day in the office but for a holiday in the Caribbean? I think it’s totally acceptable. I think these 3 polishes really compliment each other and I’m really happy with how this manicure turned out. Next week I’ll be back to Autumnal shades I promise!
