The November My Little Box is themed My Little Sweet Box to encourage baking and cooking. Instead of the usual cardboard box this month’s My Little Box has come packaged as a Sweet Box tin covered in cute illustrations of cooking related items which is really lovely. I’m definitely going to use my tin to store cookies or brownies when I next bake.
I received 2 skincare items in the November box. The Ainy Un Songe d’Or Beauty Oil and My Little Beauty’s Sweet Hand Cream. The Ainy Un Songe d’Or Beauty Oil is a nourishing multi-purpose oil suitable for face, body and hair made entirely from medicinal plants. My Little Beauty’s Sweet Hand Cream is non-greasy with a subtle scent. I think I’d have been more appreciative of this hand cream if I hadn’t received one in the October box.
I also received a generous sample of the Yves Rocher So Elixir Bois Sensuel fragrance. I really like the smell of this perfume, it’s a rich woody scent containing iris, vanilla and patchouli and along with the tin it’s my favourite item in the November box.
The My Little Sweet Box also contained 2 lifestyle items. A chef’s apron which ties in nicely with the theme and jar labels for things like coffee, sugar and flour. I won’t personally used these as my jars come already labelled but I guess they’re a nice idea.
Last November was one of my all time favourite boxes, the My Little Cosy Box contained 2 make up items and a nail polish and the lifestyle items were spot on. With the My Little Sweet Box I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed. For a start, it doesn’t actually contain anything sweet which is a bit misleading, I’ve received a hand cream two months in a row and no make up items have been included in the last few boxes. I’m really starting to think that My Little Box is loosing its magic.. I really hope that My Little Box up their game for the December box otherwise I may have to consider cancelling my subscription.
