Photo Diary: Waddesdon Manor
At the end of last month I spent a beautifully sunny day with my Grandparents at Waddesdon Manor House and Gardens. I’ve apparently visited Waddesdon before, aged 5-7 but I really can’t remember it. Waddesdon Manor is so ornate it almost looks like a castle and the gardens are so pristine I felt naughty walking on the grass! The Manor itself is absolutely huge and every room has countless chairs, clocks and lots of little details – every piece of furniture is a work of art in itself. My favourite spots were the Aviary and Rose Garden. I could have happily spent hours trying to spot the various birds. It was a truly wonderful day and I had a lot of fun exploring the house and gardens with my Grandparents.
