Beauty Protector Protect & Treat Hair Mask
This mask smells gorgeous and felt very nourishing. I think £16 is a steep price to pay for a hair treatment so I wouldn’t purchase it but I’m pleased I got to try it, I have a second sample to use up too.
Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation
I really like this foundation, it has medium, buildable coverage and blends nicely. I just wish it would last a bit longer, by the end of the working day my foundation fades in places but having said that it’s my current favourite base.
Repurchase? Yes – I already have.
Colgate Max White One Active toothpaste
I didn’t notice any difference to the whiteness of my teeth but maybe I didn’t use this for long enough, but otherwise it’s a nice minty toothpaste.
Extra Strength Nail Polish Remover by Sainsburys
I brought the Extra Strength version as I hoped it would tackle glitter polishes more easily but I didn’t find that it was any better then nail polish removers I’ve tried in the past, however it did do the job.
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Marvellous Transformer Shampoo and Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner smells gorgeous, leaves my hair super soft and tangle-free. I found that the shampoo bottle was a nightmare to open though but that doesn’t deter me from wanting to purchase these again.
Repurchase? Yes, I’d like to try others from the range too.
Gilchrist & Soames English Sea Kelp Extract Mineral Bath
I didn’t think this was anything special.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] Anti-Blemish Cream
I like to apply this product before moisturising, it really does help to reduce the appearance of blemishes and fade marks more quickly.
Repurchase? Yes – already have.
L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Eye Make Up Remover
This eye make up remover has the same refreshing feeling as putting cucumber over my eyes but as an actual eye make up remover it was disappointing. It is so gentle that even after 3-4 cotton wool pads full of product my eye make up wouldn’t be fully removed. It just doesn’t perform.
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads
I have read a lot of positive reviews about these exfoliating facial pads and I wanted to try them for myself. I tend to get dry patches around my eyebrows and nose but using these daily really helped to eliminate these dry patches and I will definitely be buying them again.
Repurchase? Yes, especially when they’re on offer.
Philip Kingsley Body Building Conditioner
Even though this sample was only enough for 1 or 2 uses, I enjoyed using this conditioner and it definitely worked to add volume.
Repurchase? No – above my price range.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I prefer Rimmel’s Clear Complexion Transparent Powder because it’s transparent but when it’s out of stock I buy the Stay Matte version and it’s not bad. One of the best budget pressed powders I’ve ever tried.
SEVENTEEN Falsifeye HD Mascara
Considering I wrote my glowing review of this mascara back in September and have used it pretty much daily since purchasing it I’m impressed by how long it has lasted. I still love this mascara just as much as I did then.
Repurchase? Yes – I already have.
Silvikrin Firm Hold Hairspray
I don’t know whether I dropped this and don’t remember but the nozzle on this has been temperamental for some time and after spraying in all directions one too many times I decided to chuck this. As a hairspray it works really well though.
VO5 Nourish My Shine Hot Oil
My Mum put a box of these in my stocking a couple of Christmases ago and I came across what must be the last of the set and decided to use it. I can’t say I really noticed a difference to the condition of my hair after using it which is strange as I remember liking them in them in the past.
Whish Lavender Body Butter
This is such a lovely organic body butter, if you like the smell of lavender I would recommend it.
Repurchase? Maybe – as a gift.
